Synopsis: David, a lonely hipster, stumbles across a speed dating faire and sneaks his way into the event. As he tries to avoid the police officer, an employee mistakes him for one of the dating talents. Placed in the spotlight, David looks to the other potential suitors for ideas. Desperate to find a date for himself, David attempts to use the random items that he finds in a box, but is unaware that all of the items that he pulls out are “rejects” and “misfit items.” When David sees that the Salsa Dancer is successful, he attempts to Salsa Dance only to drop his date. After witnessing the painter win over the heart of the one he lost, he attempts to woo the next woman with his own artistic talents. Yet, she seems more interested in the clay turtle that is at his booth than in him. She walks off with the clay turtle, rejecting David. David finally chooses a talent of his own, poetry.
