Synopsis: The weekend of JFK’s assassination as seen through the eyes of a seven-year-old boy. With minimal understanding of “the President” he tries to process the sadness that consumes his mother, grandparents, and the people across the nation grieving on the news. The weekend contrasts the tragic loss of a beloved President while finding some semblance of normalcy and joy as the family celebrates his little brother’s sixth birthday the very next day.
