Synopsis: A surreal stately quadrille of shifting alliances based on a march composed 100 years ago that bridge historical events with the present. ‘Stately quadrille’ is a term popularly used to describe the constantly shifting alliances between the Great Powers of Europe during the 18th century. It takes its name from the quadrille, a dance in which the participants constantly swap partners. The Concert of Europe was re-arranged in the treaties of 1919, precisely 100 years ago.

‘The End of Days is still not quite due. But Boy do I have some Crackerjack Songs for you’ are the last verses of the quadrille with which the dance ends tragicomically at a round table of roulette.
