FILMMAKER Q&A – Kristian Repshus – Director, Producer, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor, Actor
GS: What was the inspiration for your film?
KR: I was inspired by the idea to create high level storytelling in a low budget environment and see how well it could be done.
GS: When did you conceive the idea for your film and how long did it take before it was realized?
KR: I wrote it about a month and started production as soon as a month after finishing the last draft.
GS: What was the most challenging aspect of working in a short film format?
KR: Everything really. It’s my first time making a Short and I had to learn everything from scratch as we were making it.
GS: What was the most challenging aspect of your production?
KR: Lighting and blocking. I had no experience with it from before and it became a huge challenge during production.
GS: Do you have any advice for first-time filmmakers?
KR: Just do it and find out how to do it along the way.
