Synopsis: Kachrachi is a satirical short film highlighting the malign elements that have turned a once vibrant and dynamic metropolis into a callous city where people are surviving instead of living.
The protagonist in the film is a madman who is a reflection of Karachi, The madman is reprimanding its people for their negligence and disregard towards basic human needs such as hygiene, cleanliness and civic awareness.
The title “Kachrachi” is a juxtaposition of the Urdu word (Kachra) which literally means trash and the city Karachi.
The issues addressed by the protagonist in the film are echoes of the orphan city, Kachrachi.
