Synopsis: Milk Aisle is set during the civil rights movement and shares the story of a young black man named James Hudson who is imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. While in prison, he receives a letter from a young white woman named Ruby Sanders that was delivered to him by mistake. On a whim, James responds and an unlikely friendship begins via letters. Completely unaware of who exactly they are corresponding with, they both live in bliss until the letters are discovered and their true identities are made known.
