GS: What was the inspiration for your film?
VM: The grow out process of my own gray hair and the social response to it which most often was negative.
GS: When did you conceive the idea for your film and how long did it take before it was realized?
VM: I conceived it in Feb 2015 and it took 4 long years to complete it.
GS: What was the most challenging aspect of working in a short film format?
VM: Given my winning entry was the trailer the only challenge to the trailer was it being a bit too long (2:51) however shortening it (as I tried) caused it to loose it’s impact so in the end I chose to keep it at its original 2:51minutes.
GS: What was the most challenging aspect of your production?
VM: Most definitely the biggest challenge was bringing this to fruition with no money and I mean if we spent no more than $1500 in these last 4 years.
GS: Do you have any advice for first-time filmmakers?
VM: Keep your end goal in the forefront of your brain and keep telling yourself daily that you can do this.
