CB: My love of Halloween and I monologue I had read awhile back and it gave me an idea if about a dad sneaking around looking for food.

GS: When did you conceive the idea for your film and how long did it take before it was realized?

CB: This one went fast, I would say maybe 5 to 6 months from writing it to being completed.

GS: What was the most challenging aspect of working in a short film format?

CB: This was my first film as a writer/director and produced mostly by myself.

GS: What was the most challenging aspect of your production?

CB: Because of the kids schedule we shot during the day, but it takes place at night and the house we had so many widows.

GS: Do you have any advice for first-time filmmakers?

CB: Just do it, it took me so long to get up the nerve to do my first film. And everyone I have done I’ve learned so much. So it’s really been a great learning experience for me.
