When recording the song, You Be The Leaver, I looked into the lyrics with thoughts of self-reflection in mind. Looking into one’s feelings and emotions. This song to me speaks of heartbreak, but there are also lyrics in the song that make me think of loss on different or other levels. Loss that many others have had to endure, especially over the last couple of years.
